Thanks for considering AtlantaBuzz.com to help you get the word out about your event. We like to keep this process simple but we have a couple of things you need to consider when submitting your events. If your submission follows the fun stuff below, we just might give it preferential treatment!
  1. Don't use "ALL CAPITAL LETTERS" in any of the words. We're absolutely positive that Sister Anne would have slapped our hands had we written this way. We'll just crumple your submission into a wad and throw it into the waste basket in the corner of the room if we see this.
  2. We also like to see complete and as authentic sentences as possible. Now we're just asking for craziness, right? Well, we've found that people like to read this way - complete sentences that aren't just PR dribble. Don't try to change that. Again, this might get you in the waste basket if your submission doesn't have some effort on this one. Oh, just to prove we're not asking for too much, run-on sentences will be accepted. ;-)
  3. Keep the Event Title short. Have you read the headlines at the New Yorks Times lately? Their headlines are short... for a reason. That reason? People are looking for catchy short phrases to catch their initial attention. Yep, that's it. That's the reason. You should try to do that for your event.
  4. Please don't include any website addresses in the Short or Long Summary. This is why we've supplied fields for them just below. This keeps the content from having awkward formatting. You don't awkward formatting, do you? We don't think you do.
  5. One last thing... keep the Short Summary to the prototypical one paragraph format. We're thinking this is pretty darm self-explanatory.
That's it. Again, if you can think about these basic things as you submit your event, we might.... just might... give it some love on the website after we review and approve it. That would be cool, right?
