The Miller Lite Chili Cookoff
The event is expected to draw over 300 teams from across the United States. it is the premier chili cook-off east of Texas. Total attendance from last year exceeded 14,000 people, filling up the meadow at Stone Mountain Park. The Black Man-O-logues
Black Man-O-Logues is a production that explores love from the perspectives of 10 black men, each confronting a unique set of life circumstances. It breaks the stereotype of the black male as player/womanizer by unveiling a truer picture of the challenges and triumphs a black man faces in the wake of familial and romantic love. It is primarily intended for adult audiences.

Morehouse College Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Morehouse College will host its 10th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Saturday, September 26,2009 at 8:00 a.m. Registration for the 2K walk is $20, which includes a t-shirt. The walk will begin at the Martin Luther King, Jr. International Chapel on the campus of Morehouse College. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.

The festival includes live entertainment, an artists' market (including 40 local artists), improv comedy sketches, food and beverage from neighborhood restaurants and children's activities. Live From Out At SPACE, a never before seen union of some of Atlanta's best djs and artists promises to be one of the most eclectic mixes of acid jazz, nu-soul, house, hip-hop, funk, soul, and disco to benefit the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia.
