July 4th Weekend Package at the Beechwood Inn
Fri, Jul 04 - July 4th is on a Friday, so we will have live music and offer a casual dinner permitting you time to go watch fireworks at one of several local venues. Live music on the front porch starting at 5:00PM, with Georgia Wine and Bruschetta; Dinner served at 6:30pm – leaving time to go watch fireworks at dusk.
Mediterranean Dinner with Fine Wines at the Beechwood Inn
Sat, Jul 05 - A wide variety of our Osage Market produce, as well as organic produce from our local growers will be available, so join us for a wonderful Mediterranean feast with wines from Spain, Italy and France. Guests will be treated to a 6 course gourmet meal paired to wonderful wines.
Dinner at Ristorante Babbo Eonoteca
Sat, Jul 12 - Yes, we are taking you to Italy via Ristorante Babbo in New York City. Mario Batali believes that olive oil is as precious as gold, that shorts and orange crocs re acceptable attire for every season, and food, like most things, is best when left to its own simple beauty. In addition, all the wines served this evening will be made by Mario’s partner Joe Bastianich.
Day Hike on Pigeon Mountain in the Cumberland Plateau
Sat, Jul 19 - Join photographer Bill "Hawk" Reeves & CH2MHill geologists for a fantastic day of hiking, photography and natural history. Rocktown, not to be confused with Rock City, is a maze of oddly shaped boulders atop Pigeon Mountain. This is a moderate hike. We will caravan from CNC to the hike location. Bring your own lunch, snacks & water.
Heirloom Tomato Festival
Sun, Jul 20 - On Sunday, July 20th, 2008, Glen-Ella Springs Country Inn in Clarkesville, GA will host it's 5th Annual Heirloom Tomato Festival. A fun filled day beginning at 11:00 am - admission to festival $5.00 per person. Twilight Supper begins at 6:00 pm reservation only - cost $30.00 per person plus tax and gratuity.
An Evening in Provence – Cuisines of the Sun

This is the land of flowering Thyme and fragrant Lavender. Join us at the Beechwood Inn for a romantic evening with cuisine from Provence matched to some wonderful regional wines.
Cabins Weekend on the Coosawattee River
Fri, Aug 15 - Looking for a little adventure or a place to cool down & beat the heat? Lets go tubing down the river and/or relax with a good book by the river. You can do either or both on this trip! Welcome Party/barbecue dinner. We'll also organize hiking and tubing excursions! Of course, nightly bonfires will be mandatory, so get your best fireside ghost stories and jokes ready!
