Argentinean wine quality has been steadily growing after the devastating onslaught of El Nino in 1998. The Mendoza region produces 75% of the country`s total wine output. Although desert like the Andes provide a continuous supply of water. Malbecs are the most impressive, but several whites are hot on their heels.
