Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Balance Academy will offer a six-week self-defense course for women only taught by Black Belt Head Instructor Jorge Jimenez. Organized in response to recent violent attacks against women in Georgia, the course will cover effective defensive techniques that any woman can employ against most common attacks. Jimenez’ highly effective program, which has been taught to women at Emory University, is centered on practical self-defense and includes conditioning and technique. Women of all ages are welcome and no experience is necessary.
The six week course will be taught by Jimenez on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. from May 21-June 25 at the Newnan facility, which is located at 195 Raymond Hill Road, Suite H, Newnan, GA 30265.
The cost for the course is $90.00. Advance registration is required due to limited space.
