Habitat Building Block Party
The home builds conclude after 8 build days on November 22nd with a dedication celebration titled Atlanta Habitat's "Building Block" Party. The Block Party takes place at the site of the 1,000th and 1,001st home builds in the Lakewood Commons Neighborhood from 11:30 a.m to 4 p.m. and will be the largest dedication ceremony in Atlanta Habitat's history. The landmark dedication will highlight the achievement of building 1,000 houses amid the enjoyment of a block party setting of sidewalk art and family-friendly entertainment. Stilt walkers and jugglers will mix within the crowds celebrating to the beat of rhythmic drumming by Atlanta Drum Line.
Corporate and local vendors will provide food and beverages.
