More menu choices add flavor to the 14th annual Scandinavian Festival Atlanta. Nine Georgia Scandinavian clubs participate in organizing this family-friendly event which showcases the best of five Nordic countries--Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway & Sweden. Scandinavian Festival Atlanta 2008 also will be jam-packed with live music and entertainment, including folk-acoustic duo Kronos; folk dance group Scandans from North Carolina; Atlanta-based men's choir Vasa Dranger; and more to be announced. Other festivities include the ever-popular Viking encampment; vendors market with hard-to-find Scandinavian products; cultural zone where one can learn about the 5 countries; storytelling; children's games; arts and crafts; a popular raffle; soccer tournament; the first Atlanta appearance of the world's most famous Finn, Santa Claus; and much more.
