Alon's Bakery and Market in Dunwoody welcomes chef Virginia Willis as she emerges from the kitchen to share recipes, stories and southern hospitality during a special signing of her new cookbook, Bon Appetit Y'all: Recipes and Stories from Three Generations of Southern Cooking on Saturday August 23 at 1 p.m.
In keeping with Willis' southern theme, Alon's will treat guests to a complimentary tasting of some of Willis' dishes such as Vidalia Onion Quiche and Buttermilk Cornbread. Attendees and fans of the Southern lady will sip on traditional southern beverages of iced tea and lemonade and enjoy specials on beers and wines from Georgia. Bon Appetite Y'all is a perfect blend of Willis' French training and southern roots, featuring 200 recipes that unite French and Southern flavors to create delectable tastes for any palate.
