The 32nd Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival Presented by American Family Insurance takes place the whole month of May. Between May 1-31, For 31 days, Atlanta will experience live music at Atlanta bars and clubs; dinner and jazz at some of the city's top restaurants; neighborhood shows at Piedmont Park and Cleophus Johnson Park; and a jazz packed Memorial Day Weekend festival in Grant Park. There will be a Memorial Day Weekend Celebration in Grant Park, Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24. Listen to the soulful sounds of many jazz legends including the musical styles of Grammy nominated jazz trumpeter Russell Gunn, the powerhouse beats of drummer Cindy Blackman, the classic sounds of jazz vocalist Freddy Cole and the multicultural musical talents of Hiroshima.
