6th Annual Heirloom Tomato Festival, Sunday, July 19, 2009 beginning at 11:00 am.
The festival features dozens of varieties of heirloom tomatoes, fine arts and crafts for sale, live music, contest to be held for attendees to bring in their most unusual heirloom tomato (to be judged on size, shape and color) with the winner of the contest to receive a complimentary overnight stay in the inn. Food items that will be offered for sale will include fried green tomatoes, tomato sandwiches, salsa & chips, desserts and more. Admission to the festival is $5.00 per person. The evening finishes off with the annual Twilight Supper which begins at 6:00 pm. Reservations are required for the Twilight Supper and the cost is $35.00 per person.
