Captain Planet Foundation Chairperson, Laura Turner Seydel, joins X-MAS Party Event Chair, Sacha Taylor, in presenting "Rock the Earth," calling each of us to be part of a movement to change the planet.
The event, celebrating its 15th year in 2009, is like no other in Atlanta. The festive, "must attend" evening is filled with live musical performances by renowned artists & entertainers and dancing. Clearly one of Atlanta's most-anticipated parties, it is held every year in December at the Tabernacle in Downtown Atlanta.
The event goal is not only to raise awareness of our planet's important environmental challenges, but also to raise money in order to provide grants to schools and youth organizations for "hands-on" eco-education projects.
