Manna Scholarship Fund (MSF) will welcome Miss America 2008, Miss Kirsten Haglund, to Atlanta, for the "Heart of Manna" weekend, November 6th and 7th, 2009. This two-day celebration will seek to raise funds for MSF to award scholarships for those seeking inpatient care for the treatment of eating disorders, as well as spread a message of awareness and prevention for eating disorders.
"Art for Heart" - An Art and Wine Tasting Event on Friday, November 6th, at the Atlanta Woman's Club. Guests will be served heavy hors d'oeuvres, enjoy a wine tasting, and have the opportunity to purchase fabulous art work by local artists. Miss Haglund will provide a heartwarming speech as well as singing as entertainment for the evening. The Executive Director of MSF, Dr. Genie Burnett, will speak on the growth of MSF. Local artist Vickie Martin will be creating an interactive, one-of-a kind piece of art.
