The 2009 Atlanta Charity Ball is being held in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. In the heart of the holiday season, Atlanta will come together to spread the gift of life as we make strides to inspire a deeper commitment to finding cures, solutions, and provide support to those that are directly affected. As a celebration with a purpose, this will be an evening of elegance, jazz and advocacy and attendees will dance the night away while supporting this worthwhile cause.
The 2009 Charity Recipients are as follows:
{Research} Since 1993, The American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Campaign has registered nearly 5 million walkers across the country and has invested more in cancer research over time than any other voluntary public health organization.
{Education} The Francis Holmes Young Scholarship Foundation is making grassroots strides to increase the awareness of breast cancer found in men while awarding scholarships to deserving young men.
