Alpharetta PAL Benefit and Recognition Ball
Fri, Mar 12 - The Alpharetta Police Athletic League (PAL) is pleased to host its' 14th Annual Benefit and Recognition Event to be held on Friday, March 12, from 6:30 to midnight at the Metropolitan Club on Windward Parkway. All hands are planning a fun-filled evening of dinner, dancing, casino-style gambling, and more. Alpharetta PAL, a non-profit organization, benefits at-risk youth in North Fulton County.

Radiant Systems Sprint for Cancer 5K and 10K Race
Sun, Apr 18 - Sprint for Cancer is a family-focused 5K and 10K run/walk event planned for Sunday, April 18 in Atlantic Station. The race benefits the Georgia Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to cancer education, early detection and support throughout the continuum of cancer care. Radiant Systems Charity Corporation has donated more than $500,000 to the Georgia Cancer Foundation.

Reach for a Cure
Thu, Apr 22 - Third annual "Reach for a Cure": wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres & silent auction fundraiser to benefit research for Friedreich's Ataxia, a rare genetic disease and form of Muscular Dystrophy that attacks the neurological system and shortens life. To help medical researchers find a cure, the Zilles' created the event with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and previously raised $94,000.

Sat, Apr 24 - Watching my gentle giant endure the stages of suchan aggressive cancer will forever be with me, especially having to say goodbye to such a magnificent animal. To keep his memory alive and honor his life, I want to help educate people about this cancer and other canine diseases, as well as the great strides that the University of Georgia's Pathology Department for Canine Cancer are making.
The National Kidney Walk
