The Atlanta Chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier International is hosting their renowned annual fundraiser at Serenbe in Palmetto, Georgia on Nov. 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. This food and wine celebration features more than 80 chefs, fine wines, live music and other festivities. Come and see Chef Carvel Grant Gould prepare some of her signature dishes from Canoe. Proceeds from Afternoon in the Country benefit the LDEI's scholarship fund and the Georgia farming community.
