September 6: "Grow, Cook, Eat!" A Georgia Mountain Harvest Festival sponsored by the Georgia Mountains Foodways Alliance.
Come experience our mountain foods at the Center on Warwoman Road in Clayton, Georgia from 11:00AM to 3:00pm (2368 Pinnacle Dr., Clayton) Our local farmers will bring produce and our local chefs will prepare wonderful gourmet samples. The Festival will feature local wines, syrups, produce, dairy, grains, and meats. There will be many vendors displaying their local grown products and our local restaurants will have booths where they will let you sample some of our local foods prepared in creative delicious ways.
